Rajrajeshwar Dham

Headquarters of Life Mission

Life Mission has set up its Headquarters near Jakhan village along the National Highway #8 in Limbdi Taluka, Surendranagar District, and Gujarat, India. The headquarter is built on a hundred acre piece of land, the initial acreage donated by the people of Jakhan Village. Preparatory work on the facility was commenced in 1997 by way of tree plantation, site preparation, laying of essential physical infrastructure, etc. Swami Rajarshi Muni, assisted by two of his initiated devotees, performed the soil breaking ceremonies at the site on Thursday, 3rd December 1998, a day of special auspiciousness in the Indian spiritual calendar as Dattatraya Purnima. Foundation stone laying ceremonies in respect of Divyayatan, the spiritual center, and the administrative building and hospital were conducted with due solemnity on the Indian spring festival 22nd. January 1999, the day of the Spring Solstice. The foundation stones for the spiritual center were laid by the three Saints, Swami Rajarshi Muniji, Swami Ishwaranandgiriji of Samvit Sadhanayan, Sant Sarovar, Mount Abu and Swami Sampoornanandji of Wadhwan; those for the administrative building and hospital by the Thakore Saheb of Limbdi and Shri Kiritsinh Rana, then a Minister in the State Government.

The Rajrajeshwardham complex will house the physical infrastructure to conduct programs and activities consistent with its mission and aims and objects. It is the Mission’s International Headquarters and the Headquarter Office of the future Community Development Project. “The highest goal of life can be attained only when human effort and divine grace combine. Before gaining anything, its price has to be paid. Before achieving liberation, it is necessary to work for the public weal so as to pay off the debt owed to the people”.
